For kids
Group singing is especially recommended for children.
Singing together as a shared experience plays a vital role in building community and connection.
Excellent opportunities for this include choirs, folk song circles, and dance houses. -
For youth
After the voice change during adolescence, it is recommended to begin individual vocal training.
At this stage, it is important to build and expand the musical repertoire in a thoughtful and structured way.
This includes exploring different musical eras and styles, and selecting pieces that feel personally meaningful and well-suited to the individual voice. -
For adults
Singing is for everyone!
At any age, with any background or ability, and in any style — we all have the chance to explore our voices.
What truly matters is finding joy in singing and having the courage to discover what we're capable of.

El Coro – A Community Choir in Barcelona
Our choir began in March 2026 as a small community of Hungarian women in Barcelona, originally under the name El Coro. What started as a small initiative has grown into a welcoming musical community, and we are still exploring our identity and searching for the name that truly represents us. We warmly welcome everyone who loves singing and would like to join us, regardless of background or nationality!
Led by soprano and vocal professional Zsófia Bódi, our choir combines professional musical guidance with a collaborative, community-centred approach. We meet once or twice a week, focusing on vocal technique, individual development, and the exploration of a diverse and colourful repertoire.
For us, singing together is about much more than music. We place great importance on creating an inclusive and supportive community where everyone can contribute their ideas, thoughts, and personality. We follow a sociocratic approach, collaboratively shaping our shared values, principles, organisational structure, and future direction.
We celebrated the end of our first season with a small, intimate concert on a terrace, inviting our friends and family to share in the joy of our musical journey.
